Yeah, I saw that one around a while ago. Don't know why my searching didn't locate it. Meh! I bookmarked it now.

I'm still working on this. I hope to have to work on Friday for a number of reasons. a) I can take my camera and tripod to work and have plenty of lighting b) it's triple time! woooo! wooo! c) I have to figure out my face It's a pretty flat surface on the sides. I have a head like a football player!

I haven't thrown in the towel yet!

Anybody got any other tutorials about the displacement map? You just don't see it used that often so I really don't know what it's supposed to accomplish.

One more thing - if you wear glasses, be sure to take some with your glasses off too. Sometimes it makes editing easier without them.

I saw that already. Sorry I should have mentioned it. I was hoping for something of a more useful tutorial. Gimp docs are good to tell you somethings but lack sometimes in application uses.
