It's fun to practice your techniques on. It is also fun to learn everybody's different ways of doing it.
Wallace i believe has done a splendid job. My method would have worked if i had been more precise in my selections or feathered them a bit. So rdgracer71 what was your method? Care to share?

just cut out the glass with the path tool then cut and pasted the area to the left of the glass back in place where the glass was. making sure as best i could to line up the lines. also i used the scale tool to stretch the part i pasted in to better line up the lines. i think cut and pasted about 4 sections til i had the hole filled where the glass was.
