Hey Jon u know what I did ?
i went in Edit > Preferences>Plugins >
and added folder from Lib in my documents
and now all my filters are showing in GIMP !!!!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Personally i don't understand why that folder wasn't set as default when GIMP first started. Strange indeed.
Are you sure you didn't accidentally rename it in Edit>Pref ?

The scrip to remove Gimp does not include resent screen session save so every time you reinstall Gimp it reads to last screen session save.

Install G'MIC 64 bit plug-in into your user/.gimp-2.8/plug-ins folder.
Script-Fu Layerfx.scm should go into your username/.gimp-2.8/scripts folder (although i recommend the python version as it has preview layerfx.py and you can find it at our sister site http://gimpscripts.com/2011/10/gimp-lay ... fb-file-36 ). It is a plug-in and would go in your plug-ins folder.DO NOT use the layerfx-2.8.py version it has many bugs.

May i also suggest the newer version of script-fu.exe as it allows scrolling in scripts (scm) if many values are added to the script. This would go in the program files/gimp-2.0/bin folder and you should remove the older one, and save it elsewhere. This executable can also be found at our sister site http://gimpscripts.com/2014/06/script-f ... interface/.
I would NOT recommend the extensions pack as it could interfere with other installed scripts and/or plug-ins of the same name.

Hm... ok...

In my case, it does not interfere since I use my own installation documentation and the extensions are one of the first things I install after installing GIMP - so I occasionally am able to overwrite newer scripts/plugins/... if they exist.

I had this problem unresolved for sometime until now when I read your post.

I am on windows 7 Enterprise 32 bit machine and using gimp 2.8.14 from gimpusers.com.
