No, it means that the author - if still "active" like you - is better to refer to the version released on GimpScripts.net and send the possible amendments or new enhancements to MareroQ for double-checking; so that he can release the update on GimpScripts.net.

Thank you dinasset. I just see that MararoQ has made minor modifications to Indexprint. I will check what he has done and copy it to my code and the new code.

Good day all.

As maintainer of this plugin I have a question.
I started to rewrite the interface from glade2 (GTK 2) to glade3 (GTK 3) and that will take some time. But to rewrite the python code from python v2 to v3 I'm not sure if that is a good idea at the moment because Gimp is still not supporting python v3 and also not v2 anymore. Besides python v2 is now deprecated. Am I right?

So is it advisable to keep and cleanup the pyhon v2 code (you have then to install python-gimp) or go for python v3. On Linux it is relative easy but for windows users I have also problems there is no easy installation package for GTK3 as is for GTK2 (or better PyGTK). I have also thought about making Indexprint stand alone but I donot know how to use gimp modules inside Python. So what is the best way to go and why?
