Text Effect

GIMP Experience: Beginner Level

Can anyone give me any suggestions on how or if I could create text with a sand castle effect to add to this picture. Sorry for it being blurry I had to shrink it down in order to upload it.

Wow conbagui! that is wonderful and creative. You have so much talent to create. :clap

I like much more conbagui's outcome jeanniem, as it's so original with the lettering taking part of the castle. But it's up to you. Your solution is OK too.

Issabella the script I used was 'Chiseled 2.6' available from Here
To use oped the Mermaid Image and place a text-layer above where you want to extract your texture

go to Filters/Alpha-to-Logo/Chiseled 2.6 and use the settings below

the output layers will look like those in the Image below

now use Extrude 3d on the top layer for this result

Issabella no problems as I always thought the alpha-to-Logo of this script had a lot more uses
