GIMP Version: 2.8.10
Operating System: Linux
GIMP Experience: Beginner Level


Edit:LOL, ok found out you can just drag and drop from the channels pallete onto your image!
Having to decompose and then recompose the image is the only way I have found so far - is there a shorter way? Keyboard shortucts?
Say I want to take the red channel and copy it's information and paste it as a layer in the layers pallete, and then set that layer to say Value or Softlight mode.
