GIMP Version: 2.8.10
Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: Beginner Level


Is it at all possible to recover the undo history in order to create a macro for use with the redo option in the menu bar?
If not then is it possible to recover the history and save as a text file like the error log?
I came up with a new technique to put to Graechan when a filter crashed and I had to reboot GIMP.

The history is not a sequence of instructions to rerun, it is succession of snapshots of the layers/channels/paths that have changed.
