Where Are Gimp User Folders located In Windows 8.1 [SOLVED]

OS Version: 8.1
GIMP Experience: New To Win 8.1 User

I recently installed Windows 8.1 and can't seem find my Gimp user folders.
Can anyone tell me where I might find them? :puzzled

If i remember correctly i wasn't able to see .folders because they're hidden it's an option somewhere to set so you can see them i forgot how

EDIT: oh yeah click on View menu when viewing folders
then click on Options
then click on Change folder and search options
then click on View tab
then under Hidden files and folders, click on Show hidden files, folders, and drives.

There are more options for those who suffer Windows. If you don't want to see "Desktop.ini" files all over -- or change your settings every time you need to go into a secret nook -- you can "favorite" the hidden folders, or create shortcuts to them in some handy place, while you have the hidden visible. OR you can use a third-party file manager, set to show everything, for serious operations. I'm partial to Free Commander.

Too darn much hidden stuff in 8/8.1 for sure. Windows protects itself from its users.
