I am very new to GIMP so please excuse my novice question. I downloaded the program and used it the other day to repair a damaged photo (which worked GREAT!). I did have some trouble initially getting it to load and think I held my command key down while opening the program. I have been trying to load GIMP today though and I cannot get GIMP to open at all. I had not changed anything. My Gnu just keep bouncing at the bottom of the screen for several minutes and then stops. If I right click on it, the message states "Application not responding". I have deleted the program and reinstalled to try to fix whatever is getting hung up. I even downloaded XQuartz first (which I read on a website) before I reinstalled. But the Gnu just continues to bounce and my other damaged photo remains damaged. I'm so frustrated. Anyone willing to help would be so appreciated.
