Ofnuts path programs

GIMP Version: 2.8.14
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: Windows 7
GIMP Experience: Basic Level

For some reason, I am no longer able to download anything from SourceForge, which is frustrating as that is where Ofnuts programs are posted. I would like to get all of his path scripts. I think there are 25 listed. I want to learn how to use them. Is there any other place I can download those programs? Any help is appreciated greatly.

No problem downloading a script here either. It could be your browser, mine does a "This could be harmful, do you really want to download.." type message and downloads if you ok it.

It is always worth checking at Sourceforge, new scripts get added, old scripts get updated

Dinasset, Rich2005 & MareroQ: Thank you very much for your help and kindness.

I did not get any error messages. When I right click on the file, it takes me to another page which is all script coding text. I really do not know what to do with that. If I right click the file, I get the save as or save target as on a menu of choices. Click save target as and supposedly the file is saved. However, it never shows in the path directory after placed in gimp user plugins.

So far, I have been able to download from other places without problem.

Pat,
I hope you can use those I have zipped for you (just unzip the file and set the .py filters in a folder accessible as "plug-ins" in your user directory, as others plug-ins you certainly make use of)

in any case if you do the following:
1-click on the second link provided by Rich
2-(you see the list of the 25 plug-ins)
3-click (single click) on one of those
4-(a new window appears)
5-wait (the download starts automatically)
6-back and repeat from 3)

Usually when you right click and save target as you have to manually change the extension into a .py file.

I made a typo in post #5. When I Left Click, I get the new window. It then gives me another window which is the text of script. When I right click and try save as, I change the ext. to .py but it just does not show up on the path dialog menu.

Ofnuts: I have followed the instructions on that sidebar. I do have python support. Windows 7, Gimp 2.8.14. I had downloaded without problem before from Sourceforge. In the last several months I have not been able to do so.

What browser do you use?

This is a very clean, if somewhat un-updated Windows 7 VirtualBox VM.

This does not download either. No problem on my more usual linux installation.

If using IE can you try a different browser?

I am using Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7. I will see if I can use or download a different browser.

Try Firefox, I have been using that for years.

It's really IE which is "different" (in the "politically correct" sense...).
