Where are good places to get texture for behind text?

GIMP Version: 2.8.14
Operating System: Linux
OS Version: Xubuntu 15.04 Vivid
GIMP Experience: Intermediate Level

I'm going to use the texture in ebook covers so I'm assuming I'd have to buy them, or perhaps stuff like Google images "Lableled for re-use" (which tends to be pretty crappy). Are there any good places to get texture free? Thanks.

I find Texturemate, @ http://www.texturemate.com/ to be a great place to find good high quality textures.
