Brushes

GIMP Version: 2.8.10
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: 10, 32 bit
GIMP Experience: Basic Level

List any relevant plug-ins or scripts:
GIMPressionist

How do you make GIMPressionist brushes? I want to make a particular one. I have noticed lots of them have '.pgm' on the end whereas gimp brushes have '.gbr'
I think I know where I would put it but if someone knows the windows instructions I don't mind if you want to tell me.

Think I found out! I can see you can save an image as a .pgm. Would you then just add that to the GIMPressionist brushes folder?

I've never use gimpressionist,
but I found this topic that might help you out.

ok, I have got them into GP that way but the brush is painting the whole square even though it has transparency around the picture and not just the picture. What am I doing wrong?

I don't think you're doing anything wrong, but I'm not sure if that's the way it's suppose to paint
