How to lock different blurred areas throughout, please?

GIMP Version: 2.8.14
Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: New User

Hi! I'm editing a vídeo with GIMP and need to blur some diferente areas of the image throughout (i.e. from layer 1-10, I must blur the left corner; from layer 11 to 50 I must blur the right corner).

How do I make the different blured areas stick in the layers they are suppose to without mixing it up and not need to do it one by one (layout), please?
It's my first time using GIMP. The vídeo is 4 minutes long and 736 layers.

You can try and PM FencePost about his "Gaussian Blur All Layers" script. I believe it does not work on selections he may be able to add more code to accomplish this task.

Script attached below - menu locale is Script-Fu>Blur>
