Hi, Can anyone tell me? Is it possible to set my ruler to 0 at a specified guideline? I'd like to be able to set a few guides and shift my 0 reading to make construction a little easier.

A rectangular selection will snap to guides. So you could just make a selection and change the size to what you want it to be and then move it to snap to a guide and then hit [Image] [Guides] [New Guides from Selection] to make new guides exactly the distance you want.

I am assuming that [New Guides from Selection] is a built in feature of gimp. I don't see it in my scripts or plug-ins folders. There are other neat guides scripts available. Just search for them.
