Fonts Erroneously Duplicating

GIMP Version: 2.8.14
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: Windows 10
GIMP Experience: Intermediate Level

I have a lovely font pack that will allow me to do a neat outline/ block effect. However, when I installed all three of the necessary fonts, Gimp shows three in a row of the same font. This is not a problem in Word.

I have uninstalled the fonts from the system and moved the OTF files to the gimp fonts folder with the same result.

The picture does show the issue, but it's a little small. I get three "Jupiter" fonts, all that manifest the same, but the installed fonts are Jupiter-Fill, Jupiter-Inline, and Jupiter-Shadow.

There may be something wrong with the font file.
If this is a paid and not free font.
I would suggest,
that you try and obtain a different copy of the OTF file.

I would also suggest that you upload the font file in a zip folder.
Unless this font file has been paid for.
Then you should try and get another copy of it form the vendor.

It was indeed free, but it was a free offer from a reputable website called Creative Market. I actually downloaded the pack in .zip form to start with. Is that something you'd like to take a look at? Everything looks pretty normal in there, and like I said before, they show up correctly in Microsoft Word.

I might add that I have actually had this same issue with other font packs. For instance, if a typeface comes with light, medium, bold, etc, it may appear as though one of them is installed multiple times. I have only had it happen in groups like that.

I'm not sure what the issue might be.
