Problems to log in

GIMP Version: 2.8.14
Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: Basic Level

Am I the only one who has problems to log in, download the site or post on Gimp Chat?
Sometimes I can't log in, then I can but can't post anything or log out again.
Today I tried several times to just view the site, without success.

I don't think the problem is my computer.
I've accounts on several sites and there's no problem to log in, post or view the site.

Any reaction is appreciated, I will answer ... if I can log in and post.

Perhaps it's a web browser issue?
I use Chrome and haven't experienced any of the issues you've mentioned.
What browser are you using?
Have you tried clearing the browser cache, to see if this helps?

Another thing to try,
is to clear and renew the DNS (Domain Name System) cache using Command Prompt As Admin.
These are the commands below.
Copy and past them,
one at a time into Command Prompt As Admin and hit enter.

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /renew

Sometime when you delete your cache and your browser cache, this might help, like Wallace said. Just try it. I hope this help!

@Wallace, most of the time I use FireFox. But I also have the problem with Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge.
Even when I use my iPad then, I can't view the site and that's Safari.
A while ago I had the same problem, the last weeks all went well until today.
I cleared my browser cache in all browsers now. Hopefully the problem has gone.

As you can see, at the moment all is well, fingers crossed

It could also be some sort of setting within the browser itself.
I'm not exactly sure what setting that might be.
It could have something to do,
with the way the browser is handling HTTP and HTTPS.
However,
this is only a guess and should be treated as such.

Thanks for the help, Wallace. If the problem remains or does come back, I'll ask help on a computer help forum.
I've an account on a site where people try to solve that sort of problems. But first I had to know if there where others with the same error issues here.
The help there is in my own language and that makes it a lot easier for me :tyspin
