 Post subject: Custom Gradient Not Working

GIMP Version: 2.8.14
Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: New User


For some reason, I can't apply a custom gradient to the background, a selected area, or anything. If I switch to a preset Gradient, it appears, but no matter what I do, custom gradients don't show.

It used to work a day ago, and I haven't updated my system in any way.

You have Gimp 2.10, not 2.8.
In the small pop-up window from which you can refine the gradient
change Color: "Fixed" to "Background color".
