Can this script be used in 2:10 and if so where can I get it?


I have a request in my group - a lady has a picture of a person on a coloured background but wants the shirt area especially blurred into the background. I have done the rest by using noise spread but it doesn't go past 512HxV which isn't enough. Would htis script (colour to transparency) do it if I could get it?

Which script is color-to-transparency? Do you have a reference?

Two possibilities;

There is the color-to-alpha filter, unlike Gimp 2.8, 2.10 needs an alpha channel setting but gives more options with the sliders.



or

A more general way, a white layer mask and paint in transparency using some shade of gray for partial transparency.



or is it some other effect?

Not at my pc just now. Was a script i think Odin or Oregonnian made it. All I know it used to fill in a canvas with similar coloured pixels into the transparent parts.
Anyway she has decided to take one i did for her with a feathered circle. Problem was it cut out some of the pic.

I probably have the name of the script wrong. Something like image fill.
