GIMP Version: 2.8.14
Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: New User


Thanks to you good bloggers, I have many gimp files and projects. But over this past week end the program started to run very slowly. Now, even if I move a layer, a little clock appears and I have to wait 30-40 seconds. Does anyone know why this just started to happen?

Can you post your system specs i.e.,
Installed Memory, HDD Capacity, Processor?

Also, if you can.
Please post a screenshot of your preferences settings under Environment.
Do you know where to find the preferences?
