Hello,

I am making an image banner that is 536 by 100 px. My text is coming out very pixelated even aftet exporting in a jpeg. I have set up the antialiasing option in my text settings.

Any help would be appreciated!

I usually export to .png format with compression level 1. Don't remember the default .jpg quality, but I always crank it up to 95-98%.
It's hard to say without the image, could be something with the font you are using.

If you are using the standard text tool then make your text size about the size you need for your banner. Using the scale tool to increase text size (to fit your banner) will introduce pixelation and fuzzy text.

I always save JPGs at 100% because I often reduce the upload size using a google algorythm. (Guetzli)

I discovered using the smudge tool down at 2 or 3px and using the shift key + left mouse button on straight lines reduces that sawtooth effect.

Never ever upscale text layer, it removes text editing capabilities = rasterizes text layer.
If you need to resize text layer, you switch to text tool to increase the point size!

Turns out my problem stemmed from trying to fix it when a little too tired. I had turned antialiasing on, but didn’t highlight my text when I did so. It’s fixed now!
