Gimp 2.10 on Macbook using gtk shows errors like this
(gimp-bin:8722): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: 14:59:10.592: invalid cast from 'GtkMenuBar' to 'GtkWindow'

(gimp-bin:8722): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 14:59:10.592: gtk_window_add_accel_group: assertion 'GTK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed

Does someone know How to solve this problem?

It is using GTK as is done in Arakne guide lab

Searching an User, who can build a Python plugin for GIMP 2.10
Using GTK (only)

I have an old (probably updated) arakneguidelab plugin. Works.
Trying to understand it is horrible ...

Years ago a used the afraken approach to make GIMP useable as checker bord. and I got it more or less working last weeks ;-).
But there is at least one annoying thing:
showMyMessage occurs as GTK message Display at places I want info BUT this sort of Display occur more often than not WIthOUT any message in it
Why and what triggers it ?????

I would like to work on it together with someone
understanding things like this.

Contact me tor a more or less working
checkerboard with GIMP.

Elsewhere here I showed years ago what was than (and more or less now) possible.

Help is very much appreciated
