Hi, How do I set up GIMP 2.10.18 for Kubuntu 20.04 ? I installed KDE over Ubuntu. Already installed GIMP from store, but not sure it will have the same tools I had in 18.04. GMIC is missing from Filters menu. Not sure what else is gone, but not I have icon grouping. I want it to go as well.

If you installed Gimp from the s/w store, I believe you are running the flatpak version. If that is true, then G'mic won't work. You would likely need to use the PPA version or the AppImage. I like the AppImage and that's what I use. https://github.com/aferrero2707/gimp-appimage/releases

It is the snap version I am using.

I never used Gimp snaps, so can't help.

I tried the AppImage option

But none of the above is shown inside GIMP. Neither there is 2 GIMP. I am not sure where I am wrong.

Need more details. Are you using the Gimp appimage? If so, you can just use a version that comes with all plugins installed, which will include the ones you are talking about. I personally use the Appimage without plugins and install only what I want.

Make sure to make the Appimage executable before you run it.
