GIMP Version: 2.8.14 Operating System: Windows GIMP Experience: New User
Hello gimpchat.com! I just downloaded GIMP and am using it as a basic image editor. I have a bunch of JPEG images that need to be "Flipped" to correct their orientation. I open the image, and choose "Flip" and then "Flip Horizontally" from the "View" tab. I can see the correct layout of the image now. Here's the problem: I want to save the corrected image as a JPEG. When I do so, I click "File", "Export As", and choose "JPEG" as my file extension, as well as where I want to save the file on the computer. I then click "Export" and the "Export" again. When I go to the location to view the JPEG, the changes are not saved - the photo is still in its original orientation. I'm sure I am missing something obvious here - but I cannot see it. Help? Thanks!
