Hi, I am new here. I have been using Gimp 2.8 for many years now. It got deleted from my computer so I went and reloaded online. Every time i go to open it by clicking on the icon it gives me this message 'The procedure entry point inflatedValidate could not be located in the dynamic link library zlib1.dll" How do I get the program ot open. What am I doing wrong.

Have you tried to reinstall it? Or maybe before you do - Turn your computer off and on again to refresh everything.

Try to reinstall your gimp then. Just takes uninstalling the one you have and then do a fresh install. you have done it before? You have to every time you put a new one on your computer.
Your Operating System is either - Windows, Linux, Mac Apple, etc.
