I found a post about this. but i never found a good resolution. My pen tablet does not show up in "configure input devices". there was advice like try plugging it in before opening gimp, but i've already done that a bunch of times. there has to be a better explanation about why the tablet doesn't show up in the devices. i can use it but it isn't pressure sensitive.

you get this like "quartz pen" stuff showing up, whatever that is. but yeah there should be a "wacom pen"
