OS Version: Linux Mint 21.3 x86_64
GIMP Experience: New User


I'm looking for ways to simulate the look of old comics in the GIMP; Ben-Day/Halftone printing dots and the various yellowing, creasing, effects of age. Please assist. Thanks.

* Half-toning: Filters > Distort > Newsprint
* Yellowing: Colors > Color balance and add some yellow, or Colors > Color temperature and reduce the original temperature.

Try this script-fu AutoHatchLayers.scm for a Ben-Day type effect. Unzip and put in your scripts folder. A before/after shown
