Okay, guys. Someone ordered an avatar with their name in a realistic lightning text. Help! I have no idea how to do that. Does anyone on here have a tutorial on that?

Here are links for some lightning type fonts. This one is called, In a Flash, it's also available in Italics and an extended one. Free. It's in the list of fonts in the first link I posted. There are others there too.

This is a hollow font you may want to fill in.

the lightsaber script looks cool...much faster than doing it by hand.

It is quite easy to use - just create a layer and make a selection. :)
Run the filter.....select your colors and the filter does the rest.It makes great light sabers!
To get this effect you may have to delete or move a layer or two after running it twice but its pretty easy doing that.
