I moved from one machine to another, AND updated gimp from 2.10.38 to 2.10.38 Rev 1.

Two things disappeared in the process and I'd like them back. I'm hoping it's merely settings that I can change.

One, the buttons at the end of the scrollbar that let one scroll past the edges of the canvas have vanished.
Two, anything past the edges of the canvas is now not visible.

The two together make it much harder to drop images near the edge of the canvas and place them properly.
And the second makes it much harder to store unused-yet images outside the canvas where they're all visible but not in the renderi.

Anyone know if these are code changes or default settings changes?

Yep. After a restart. Still no scrollbars past the canvas, but I found a mention of spacebar as a control key, and that seems to work.
