 Post subject: Is there a composited view for the Histogram tab?

GIMP Experience: Experienced User


Does anyone know if it's possible to get a composited view for the histogram?
Currently I can only get information for the currently selected layer.
A semi-workaround I've found is to put the layers into a group and select the group layer; but this doesn't help if I want to work on one layer and see the histogram being updated for the image as a whole.
