It is not for GIMP3, is it?
GIMP 2 plug-ins do not work in GIMP 3.
For me must have plug-ins are for example:
GMIC, Batcher, resynthesizer
But as a new user I would first start to learn GIMP without plug-ins.
I agree with all of that, especially the last bit, experiment with Gimp and find out how it works.
Ofnuts does have some Gimp 3 plugins here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp3- ... s/general/ A remake of Ofnuts text along path is here:
https://github.com/Vekz/vekz-text-along-pathThere are Mark Sweeney plugins
https://script-fu.github.io/funky/hub/plug-ins/folder/There is a certain amount of duplication, Batcher for example, renames layers / add backgounds, all sorts of things...but you might find a single simple plugin that suits your workflow better.
