brush dynamics

what are brush dynamics and what do they do,how do you use them? can someone explain it to me.

They are variation of the brush parameters (rotation, opacity, size, hardness, color...) following the user's stroke characteristics: length, speed, direction, pressure (on tablets), tilt (on good tablets) plus a random generator..

A brush dynamic is a set of checkboxes located in the tool options dockable dialog of your brush tool. What they do is change how your brush behaves when youy use it. Try checking different combinations of the checkboxes and see what each one does to your brush
