Does anyone have any themes that work with GIMP 2.7.5?

I got this to work in 2.7.5 64 bit ( thanks Partha )

I just tried that and I get "the application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application" error.

they showed up in edit- preference- themes but wouldn't change.. this is what Partha told me and it worked after that
Make sure that the gtkrc file for Chocolate-Murrine is in the directory C:\program Files\Gimp-2.7.5\share\gimp\2.0\themes\Chocolate-Murrine and not C:\program Files\Gimp-2.7.5\share\gimp\2.0\themes\Chocolate-Murrine\gtk-2.0\.

Probably because you have a DLL conflict. To install themes (this is a FAQ -it's all over Gimpchat), get the theme you want. Let's call it "Best Theme Ever".
1. Create a directory called "Best Theme Ever" in your .gimp-2.7/themes directory.
2. Copy the gtkrc file from your download's gtk+-2.0 directory to .gimp-2.7/themes/Best Theme Ever/
3. Restart Gimp and change theme in the preferences.

Where do I find the gtkrc file? And will that allow me to start the Gimp Themes program? I installed it to the directory where I have 2.7.5 installed, but it won't let me activate the program nor are any themes showing up besides "default" and "small."

Normally I would tell you to look in gnome-look.org. However, I think that site is down. Just Google "gnome themes" and download the one you like and then follow my instructions above.

Edit: 3:57 PM EDT - gnome-look.org is functioning again.

different theme and font may give cool looking result but quite often create problems. hard to solve because apparently not related with a different theme

The most frequent problems are menu that scroll below the lower part of the screen, and filters that can't be used because the ok button below the screen
and some command (as the little arrow on the dock to add more tabs) may become totally invisible...still clickable but invisible (you must guess where are )

Just to advice that if you get weird problems the first thing to do to try to solve is revert to original theme and font (and font size)

I have to agree.This also happens in Inkscape when you change the theme.Weird things happen in the Fill and Stroke dialog.Best to keep the default theme in my opinion.Windows just doesn't work well with them.
I have begun to change all mine back.

It's probably more to do with gtk+2.0 than with Windows. Hopefully when Gimp moves to gtk+3.0 things might improve.
