Example of texture similar to this image

GIMP Version: 2.6.11
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: XP - SP3
GIMP Experience: Beginner Level

I been trying to find a texture that resembles the one that is used in this image, but I am running into a roadblock, I have been searching for fabrics, but none of the fabrics I have come across are even close to what is used in the image.

Does anyone have any possible suggestions as to a texture that would be comparable the image?

Create a new image all gray background color.
Experiment with Filters - Artistic - GIMPressionist.
Or use G'MIC plugin. Start with a all gray image, apply G'MIC - Patterns - Canvas Texture. Then apply G'MIC - Patterns - Canvas (not Canvas Texture) with low sharpness in both directions.
Try diferents values.
The tones in the gray design-drawing can be done in a new layer and changing the opacity of the layers.

I did a tutorial on making different kinds of fabric textures not too long ago. I don't know if it wouold be of use to you or not but here's the link just in case.
