As promised- here it is. The gimp decals are on the upper hull, decals on the engine nacelles were some stock i had to modify. I recommend others to try this - it worked very well. Enjoy something different. CR

The decals were a bit more transparent than i would prefer, but that could be from my own paper- all in all i salute Gimp for helping to make this build possible. Thanks! CR

That's cool. Is that a shuttle from the Mirror universe? It's been a long time since I saw the "Mirror, Mirror" episode from the original series. I seem to remember that most shuttle craft were named. I can't remember one from Mirror, Mirror. Galileo comes to mind as one of the names they used.

I really enjoyed "In the Mirror Darkly" part 1 & 2, when they revisited the mirror universe in Star trek Enterprise. I also liked the mirror universe episodes in DS9. "Shattered Mirror" is one that comes to mind.

I'm a big fan of Star Trek, not to the point of donning a costume and learning to speak Klingon, but I've seen every episode from all the series, multiple times, as well as all of the movies, multiple times.

Thanks! What this is, is a scratchbuilt kit made from sheet styrene, various diam.brass tubing, sprue and some beads and two ear ring backs from a beads store. It was scaled after the shuttlecraft drawings in the old Technical manual so it sits at about 1/50 scale.

The old shuttle kit from AMT is in 1/35 scale, a bit larger and very wrong and about 30 bucks! I built this one for less and came out with a better product! lol

While looking for decals i found a sheet based on the Mirror universe, alas it was 1/35 scale and I had already made the master for this build with gimp, so i continued.

There wasnt a shuttle in TOS 'Mirror Mirror' episode, but the decal sheet offers several names like 'Khan' 'Caesar' ect and I thought that fine, but I did mine with minimal markings. To me too many decals can cover up your work, sometimes less IS more! lol

The figures came from the Bridge kit, they sit at about 1/24 scale- and of course they were modified. But they help emphasize the build.
