psd files look wrong

hi,

i have problems when opening some psd files , they looks really different

this one for example

Gimp doesn't recognize, folder groups or layer styles from Photo Shop Documents.

i don't have photoshop + i love gimp

what can i do please ? any alternative ?

I downloaded a couple of things from this site. opened as psd with the layers. I saved it as xcf and looks good.

Sorry but Gimp simply does not recognize those type of effects.
However, there is an alternative which comes very close.
LayerFX.scm OR if you have Python i recommend LayerFX.py as it has preview.
