I just had a look at karo in GMIC. I see it's listed under test; it gives me errors in 2.8.

Do you mean the Pink program?
Pink Image Processing Library

Download the binary here
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pinkima ... urce=files
You need Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... en&id=5555
to install it.
It still doesn't work in GMIC though.I even copied the site package to the python/lib/site-package folder in Gimp-2.8 to no avail.
