GIMP Version: 2.8.1
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: Win 7
GIMP Experience: Intermediate Level


I get a weird distorted view while using 2.8.1. The size boxes say my circle is perfectly round but it looks "stretched" vertically more like an ellipse.

Does this have anything to do with the Preferences>Display? I tried adjusting my screen resolution but it looks the same no mater what I do.
