Operating System: Windows
OS Version: Windows 7 64-bit
GIMP Experience: Intermediate Level


Hello. I was wondering if anyone could tell me why Gimp 2.8 will not create an image from my scanner? This functionality works without problem in Gimp 2.6, but will not even come up in 2.8.

Probably because you don't have a 64-bit scanner driver? Something like this:
