G'mic install help

GIMP Version: 2.8.10
Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: Basic Level

so yea, i tried to re-install.
i press "gmic_gimp" (located in gimp-2.8> plug-ings)
and "gmic_gimp.exe - Sytem error " shows up and says
"the program can't start because libgdk-win32-2.0-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"
anyone know how i can get the missing thing?

i cant post a picture cause im a new user

Hi skanny!

You can't launch gmic-gimp by clicking on the executive file. It is a GIMP plugin, so you do launch it within GIMP session.
Open up GIMP and in Filters (Main Menu bar) find GMIC on the bottom of the panel, click on it to activate GMIC plugin window.

Just to add to that, make sure you have an active layer open in order to make the GMIC active, instead of grayed out.

Good point molly. First you have to open or create an image in gimp.

On Windows, depending on how you installed G'MIC, there should also be a command line version called, gmic.exe.
