 Post subject: How do i set up gap in 2.8?

GIMP Version: 2.8
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: XP - SP3
GIMP Experience: Beginner Level



I've used gimp for a few months to edit photos for my tumblr blog, i wanted to find out how i could make a gif from a video i was told to download gimp-gap i downloaded it and it was a compressed file i extracted the files and rebooted gimp but the video options didnt appear, the gimp-gap was for 2.6 how do i get video to work in 2.8? :tyspin

I am not sure if the GAP-2.6 installer will work for 2.8 as it would try to put the files in .gimp-2.6
