 Post subject: default brush

GIMP Version: 2.8.2
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: 7
GIMP Experience: Basic Level



everytime i start my Gimp 2.8.2 i get the '50% Hardness Brush' as the default

is there a way to change that, so i have the '100% Hardness' as my selected brush ??


the same thing with fonts...
its always on 'Sans' although thats in the middle of my fonts list

I don't know if you can or not, but I sure would like to change default Sans.

Open the "Edit->Preferences" dialog and go to the Tool Options page. Activate your Paintbrush tool, change it to the settings you want, and then click on "Save Tool Options Now".

Switch to the Text Tool, change the font (and other settings), and then click on "Save Tool Options Now".
