I created a custom CMYK ICC color profile using Photoshop CS3. When I opened one of my JPGs in GIMP, I noticed that with the separate+ plugin, the custom ICC profile that I created in Photoshop is now available to use in GIMP.

Would it be best to make the conversion of the JPG from RGB to CMYK using GIMP, or should I just use photoshop to get the job done, since the custom ICC profile was created in photoshop anyway? Or does it matter?
