Noob here, with a noob question. I thought this would be easy but i cannot figure it out. I looked at multiple tutorial videos but they all do the opposite of what I need done.

I have a logo in the center of the canvas that is on a transparent background and the bottom left corner of the canvas has some unwanted art. I tried using the selection and cut tool but I just don't know what to do after it is selected. Basically I need to remove the bottom right corner art and keep the background in that area transparent.

I need like a reverse crop, b/c when I highlight the unwanted area and choose crop, it obviously keeps the unwanted art instead of my logo.

Try Select>Invert before cropping ...

Select your logo, invert, cut (or press the Delete key)
