GIMP Version: Gimpainter
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: 7
GIMP Experience: Basic Level

I am using last Samj build (with mathmap ) and i noticed a problem with many script fu that will not show up in the menu or will not work

Refreshing filters many will give errors as

Image

but all the script do work with gimp 2.8, it happened the same with a recent script to Saulgoode viewtopic.php?f=9&t=6529

according to Saulgoode
Quote:
'unless' is a macro that should be defined in your script-fu.init file (located in the same folder as the rest of the default scripts). Double check your configuration and your download (the script runs fine for me).

The file is where it should be ...maybe for some reason is not found by gimp..

any idea how to fix ?

i believe is identical to mine ...

here is my script folder with many giving error on gimpainter but not on gimp-2.8

I did some changes ( i.e .added Ramon Miranda GPS , the zipped scripts and a few plugins ) but i can't imagine any of that changes causing problem in reading script fu macro

yes !
already run mathmap (and

But just when i was thinking to have finished to fix everything...no more exactly few minutes after the last successful touch :spring
...Everything went in lost :bawl i almost could not believe ..

Let me explain because may be something to take care when moving position of portable version ...i did not know something so awful was possible :

when finished i decided to move the polished version away from the desktop in C
first i moved in the waste bin another previous version with same name from the same path on C , done that i moved the program folder in C

I did sense something weird happening only because transfer was done in a heart beat, while transfer of all that files usually take minutes , but was no warning or error message only it was too quick to be true

Anyway the result is that what i transferred was totally ... uh...sort of crazily remapped inside the main program folder ..a lot of subfolders vanished, a lot of files grouped in different order

And more awful no trace of the other deleted copy in the waste bin , as i was sure it was full of this week trash but no trace of the last

Now the only reason i could image for such a disaster ,( because from 2 copy now i get none usable), is that when i did the move . i did not noticed the gimprc file still open in notepad but minimized (i am not sure if that file was open with notepad on the contrary i think not too probable but possible )
..or worse that i was so distract to minimize gimp instead then close it, before do the transfer
...Improbable, very improbable but i can't totally exclude gimp still open by mistake because instead minimized in the tray at the moment of the transfer

But whichever my mistakes could be the punishment was really too harsh :bawl

PhotoComix I hope my senility isn't rubbing off on everyone, but I can honestly say I feel for everyone that suffers my type of disasters and I Know you will get it all back together again
