brushes install with gimp 2.8.4

Hello everyone!
Im having problem installing gimp 2.8.4 brushes in my mac osx

i cant find the brushes folder anywhere i look in the gimp folder.

Please help me

I searched the topic and found this from Forest

Other versions of Gimp on the Mac can really require different locations, such as
YourHarddisk/Users/YourUsername/Library/Application Support/Gimp/brushes/

or similar paths.

Please remember that you should never have folder (directory) names starting with a dot, in Mac OSX, since the system makes them invisible, in this case.
