Text to path

Operating System: Linux
OS Version: Ubuntu Studio 13.04
GIMP Experience: Intermediate Level

Where has the text to path/path to text option gone? I cannot find it in the tool options for text.

Where it's been since 2.8 was released: right click in Layers menu↓

Hi nixnine,

There is also another Text to Path in the context menu by right clicking on a Text layer in the Layers dialog.

The option used to be here, I believe, but now it's gone
