I am posting here 11 plugins for Gimp-2.10.xx Win64bit with enlarged preview (they are already published on GimpChat but downloading them all at once is probably more convenient).

Included plugins:

curve-bend.exe
depth-merge.exe
flame.exe
fractal-trace.exe
gimpressionist.exe
gradient-flare.exe
lighting.exe
map-object.exe
qbist.exe
sphere-designer.exe
tile-small.exe

You can try them in bulk:
1. Create a new directory, e.g. plug-ins-big-preview
2. Copy plugins to it,
3. In Edit Preferences Folders Plugins select this directory and put it first (because they are loaded in order and duplicates are skipped).
And that's it (you don't have to swap files and archive them).

Maybe it's worth asking the developers to do this in Gimp 3 0
(minor code changes - and monitors are different than 20 years ago when these plugins were created).

That would be great!

If you want, you can do this with CSS in 3.0. Add this to your common.css or theme file:

* {
-GimpPreview-size: ???;
}

Where ??? can be any number between 1 and 1024.

Thanks MareroQ. And thank you CmykStudent for the preview size hack for Gimp-3.0. :)
The idea that i can create my own size preview windows is outstanding. Especially for different size monitors.

@CmykStudent

Thank You for participating in the discussion. ;)

Your tip only works for some plugins.

Original preview:

GimpPreview-size: 360

None of the ones listed in #1 change the preview size. :gaah

According to my theory (because I'm not a programmer) because it has a specific size saved "hard" and probably around 20 years ago GimpPreview *preview was not used.

So possible solutions:
1. Increase the preview times 2 (easy and fast)
2. Replace "hard preview" with the function 'GimpPreview *preview' (and this requires such programming knowledge as yours).

So a request and a question for you - can you do this? :bowdown

Actually it would be much neater and nicer if you could add a small button to the widget to increase or decrease the preview window. According to a users needs. :)

Still no larger preview via .css for GIMP 3.0.4 on Linux.
Would be so helpful to see better what the outcome would be.
The preview of Gimpressionist at least is more or less useless with such a tiny preview.

Ok for larger preview. Seems to skip not only the duplicates but other plugins in the original folder as well. I have GMIC in my plugins but it doesn't show now. Oh and this is in 2.10x Filters menu is much shorter
