This is the latest text effect plugin I'd created. You have an option to change the color of the text and the paper background. You can use the font issued or you can use your own font. Please use a "San Serif" font for better effect.
Please comment bout it, thank you.

When you open the script it says peper instead of paper.
For myself I have already repaired it.

Very realistic results. I wonder if this can be used to create paper panel renders (post-it note artwork) like link below (just sharing link since didn't create it)?

Lyle, that it would be a hard thing to create because the effect on the wall is from a side view. Something to experiment with I guess to keep me busy. :hehe

Ya know this might be re creatable in GEGL and I'll have to give you credit. I Just need the raw matrix for the shear transformation.

I really like this Pocholo.

Perhaps you could make it work on any (object) on an alpha channel?

If it works on text it most likely will work on font symbols (dingbats). Pretty sure there is a font out there that has post-it notes as symbols. :)
