This script is fun. Be sure to experiment with the settings. I see there are install instructions for Linux but it's not just for Linux; it will work in Windows - .scm extension.

Very nice script.
I use Lil Inkpots charcoal filter most of the time, but this one does a nice job also.

One thing i would like seen added to the filter is a layer mode setting.So you can get the colors too.
Here is one from Lil Inkpots charcoal filter with the layer mode set to soft light.

anyone know the correspondent manual steps
( i try to look the code... but ...well i get lost i don't know script fu sufficently to figure out exactly what the script does and how)
