This experiment at end came out quite good.
If no errors or improvements requirements, I will release it for GC audience.

I like to post two cityscapes for which I did a post-process step, just for fun.
1) regular: activated the top layer, color invert, mode=overlay

A third post-process:
- source in B&W
- smoothed lines
- activated top, color inverted and mode set to GrainExtract

A fourth post-process:
- smoothed lines
- reduced opacity of Posted copy to 30%
- activated top, value inverted and set mode to SoftLight
